Ecko, the lab rat.
Basics
|Name| Ecko
|Aliases| None
|Age| Two years old.
|Gender| Female
|Affiliation| Rat King
Physical
|Coloration| Creamy white with a light sepia blaze. Ruby red eyes.
|Oddities| None
|Extras| A small hole in her left ear, from where a tag once pierced her.
|General Appearance| A Siamese rat by breeding, yet a black sheep of the breed. Ecko's lack of sepia coloring on her legs and hindquarters would disqualify her from any rat show ring. Small body mainly a creamy white. A light sepia blaze covering her nose and mouth, working into a darker tone, then fading to white. Her tiny ears are the same darker tone of sepia, tiny paws a soft pinkish-white. Her long tail a "dirty" pink. Pools of a dark ruby red, yet lacking the troubles her Albino brethren have with sight.
Not quite as larger a her wild cousins, Ecko is still considered a decent sized rat. A tag once pierced her left ear, now only a small hole remains as a reminder of the past. Her long stiff whiskers are an off-white color, sprouting from her small wedge-like face. Ecko's body is agile from many runs through mazes, her love of climbing and her acrobatic escapades.

|Complete Personality| At first Ecko tends to come off as a bit shy, then as time passes, as brash. She tends to exhibit introvert like personality traits, which gives her an air of social awkwardness. Because of this, Ecko has developed a high sense of self. She usually knows how she appears to the outside world, even if it doesn't stop her. Those that know her best would describe her as a neurotic, anxious little creature, with a love mazes. Ecko also has a love for shiny trinkets, sunflower seeds and been sprouts. Climbing trees gives her an outlet for her anxious energy, not to mention she thinks it tons of fun.
If you ever find that you wish to get on her good side, the occasional dandelion just may sway her. But do not mistake Ecko has some ditzy, dense rodent, as she is very clever and witty and just may surprise you. Oddly enough, Ecko has a fear of enclosed spaces, she'll freak out if she has to stay in a small space for more than a few minutes. She also loathes bright light, loud noises, cats and snakes, fire and green leafy foods.
History
|Parents| Unknown father, Lyta
|Siblings| Her most remembered siblings are Tasha and Leland.
|Complete History| Ecko was born in the laboratories, to Lyta, a beautiful Siamese rat. Lyta does not know who the father of her brood is, but she often told them, he was a handsome creature. Ecko and Tasha had accepted that he wasn't apart of their lives, while Leland seemed to have the most problems with it. As they got older, they were separated into groups according to what they'd be use for in experiments. Ecko and Leland went to intelligence testing, Tasha went to medical trials.
Ecko was grateful for having been sent to intelligence testing, it meant that she wouldn't be subjected deformities and horrible needles for a while. But she was internally depressed with the separation of her and Tasha. Refusing to let this show, Ecko busied herself with the tasks the humans gave her. Quickly a fondness for mazes began to form. Even then, Ecko knew what the humans were doing was wrong, cruel, inhumane. However you wish to put it. So when the opportunity to escape with the rest of them came up, Ecko gladly took it. Mako had made promises to go back for the others; even with these promises, Ecko vowed to never return to the labs. She would just have to hope that Tasha was among the rats that would be freed once they returned.
News of the Rat King's denial to help them reached the rest of them quickly. Ecko did not resent him, nor was she angry with him, because she knew he was right. Mako, on the other hand, she was furious with him. Ecko feels he should have set everyone free that night, instead of just those in the intelligence sector. The anger and frustration swayed her to the side of the Rat King.
