Breeding & Birthing
Breeding. Breeding is allowed here, but graphic breeding will fade to black. Which means you can role play all the way up until the actual act of mating. You may imply it happened, but do not role play it.
- Lab rats and wild rats can breed together.
- You cannot breed two of your own rats together.
- If you want ratlets (baby rats) out of a breeding, please post on the appropriate board.
- You cannot be in more than one breeding thread at once.
Birthing. Graphic birthing isn't allowed either. If you intend on role playing out the birthing, you may role play a non-graphic birthing or fade to black.
- Female rats (does) are pregnant for one whole real life week.
- Does can give birth up to 6 ratlets.
- Male rats (bucks) may or may not be apart of their ratlets lives.
After your rat has given birth, her babies must stay with her for another real life week, at which point they will magically be 6 months old. You have the option to keep the babies as your new characters, split them between yourself and the father's player, or adopt them out. If you decide to adopt them out, it's your choice who gets them.
