Ah, so many things! So many things! How could a human just throw out all of this stuff and never look back? It was absolutely horrible! All of that stuff gone to waste when it could be used again in many different ways with thousands of possibilities.
A small, golden rat climbed through the endless piles of junk. Her pale blue scarf was wrapped tightly around her neck so she wouldn't get it too dirty in all the junk. She seemed to be having a hard time as she pulled along a large metal bowl, that she had made herself... If she was a bit bigger then it probably wouldn't be so hard to pull but as it was the little rat was a bit undersized. So she struggled along over large and small bits of trash alike, everyone once in a while she would stop and pick up a bit of junk that looked interesting and add it to the bowl that she carried; increasing the difficulty she was having of moving it. She should have put wheels on the thing to make it easier to haul, damn hindsight...
With a barely audible grunt the agouti-striped rat pulled the bowl to rest beside a large wheel. How ironic... The gold rat deciding that she earned herself a nice break and climbed up swiftly to the top of the wheel. She took a good look around and pulled her scarf closer to her as a wind blew. It was a crisp wind that brought all the chill of winter with it, fortunately it only lasted a few seconds. However, it was enough to leave the rat wishing she had a large coat of fur like maybe a cat or something... Maybe the cat who had helped give her her name had a thick fur coat. She sighed and looked around, hoping that something, anything, would make her day more... interesting...
